The bluest skies in all the world are in Seattle

At least that is what Perry Como sang to me in the days of my youth.

I remember being taught at school the difference between the State of Washington and Washington D.C., but Seattle WA meant very little to me in those days.

Now I am going back there for the second visit, this time with my sister, Linda, and we are heading into summer with the promise of those blue skies that Perry told me about.

So looking forward to catching up with son, David and family, Lisa and Jackson.  We are going to enjoy and relax as this is just the start of an 81 day sojourn in the Northern Hemisphere.

How exciting - I'm sure you will both have a wonderful time. As this is your second visit - perhaps you know or have done a boat trip from the harbour to Victoria Island, which includes a trip through Burchart Gardens?
And the Pike Fish Market down on the wharf side is a sight to see, where they toss whole fish around!

Looking forward to hearing about your trip, and of course the visits to those wonderful quilt events.

happy travelling!!!!
