Pelindaba Lavender

When I visited Friday Harbor on San Juan Island I really enjoyed browsing in the touristy shops that abounded there.

One of these that caught my attention was a lavender shop - Pelindaba Lavender.

When I asked if they lavender came from the island I was advised that they have a 25 acre farm there, one of the largest in all of the USA.

Lavender products abounded even down to lavender scented shortbread.

David sample lavender scented herbal tea and bought some lavender scented honey pictured here with sprigs of lavender in the jar.

I bought lavender scented wet wipes for travel beautifully packaged.

The products were abundant and the packaging added a lovely finishing touch - purple tissue paper and black paper carry bags.

A pleasurable experience and just a part of a fully enjoyable day.

I'd love to see the lavender farm. It must be beautiful when the lavender is in bloom.

The scented honey looks interesting.
