Free Motion Quilting

Today Freemotion by the River is having a Linky Tuesday and so I am linking about the transformation on this quilt by the addition of freemotion quilting.

I found this quilt in an op shop when I was staying in Tauranga in January.  I wrote about this find on the 15th January.

The quilt is wall hanging size and and in very good condition.  It had quite basic machine quilting which was okay but Linda felt it could be enhanced some more so this week she set to work on it and we now have a totally new, textured quilting masterpiece.

You can read more about Linda's work and see more photos at Razzle Dazzle Quilter - enjoy!

The quilting transformed this piece into a darling quilt. Your instincts about this quilt were right on the money!

your quilting is beautiful! I just have my sewing machine-but I did need to learn how to do that

This quilt was a great find, Peggy, and Linda worked her magic on it. Thanks for the link to Linky Tuesday - lots to look at there.
