Family Gathering Update

We did it!

Seven of us together in the one place - from the left, Peggy, Norman, Alan, Bob, Linda, Wendy and Barbara.

The weather was picture perfect and we had a lovely day, yummy food and the best of company.  We could not have asked for better.

Barbara's daughter, Fiona, was there and took up the role of official photographer - she must have had five or six cameras - how times have changed.

Linda and I were able to give Bryan his quilt and feel sure it will be much used.

It is always such a gift to be able to get the whole family together! The quilt looks lovely and warm and I'm sure will be much appreciated.

I found my way here via Favorite Thing Saturday. How wonderful that you could all get together! I'm very fortunate that all my family live within about 7 miles of each other! Happy new year!

I am glad you were able to get everyone together and that you took lots of photos. Too often families gather for sad occasions and not happy ones.

Thanks, Marissa, it was a lovely family gathering. We said goodbye to one of our brothers today and the other two go tomorrow, so we are dispersing once more.
