Our Mum loved her garden.
She especially loved pansies and petunias and they were part of her annual ritual, buying, planting out, enjoying their flowers, clearing them out and then starting all over again.
Perennials were good too and one of her favourites was anemones. She had some well established plants which yielded white flowers year after year.
When she moved to Taupo with us the anemones were left behind but when we moved to our current home we discovered we had pink anemones waiting to be part of our lives.
It is nice to have them in the garden again and nice to have a reminder of Mum each time we see them come back into bloom.
